{rounded caps/pics}
Here's a quick and simple tutorial on how to make caps/pics with rounded corners.1) First open up a cap/pic of your choice. I'll be opening up this Popular screencap, capped by me.
2) Select the rectangle tool, which is right under the text tool. Your setting should be 'shape layers', rounded rectangle tool and you can have whatever colour you want (it's best if the colour is differnt from the pic/cap though). For the radius, it's up to you. The bigger the radius, the more rounded the pic. I set my radius at 30px. This is how my settings on screen.
3) Now with the rounded rectangle tool select, press down near one of the corners of the cap and drag it all the way to near the opposite corner. Now, you'll have a rounded rectangle covering most of the cap. This is what it looks like.
4) With the rectangle selected in the layers panel, go to layer>rasterize>shape. Now go to select>load selection. Then press shift+ctrl+i (or go to select>inverse) and now the space around the rectangle should be selected.
5) In the layer panel, have the cap/pic selected. And make sure the layer isn't locked. Now just press ctrl+x (or edit>cut). This will cut out all the space around the rectangle on the cap/pic. Just delte the rectangle layer, and you'll be left with a rounded cap/pic. This is what it should look like this.
